scene 1. After the Date

MEDIUM WIDE - OUTSIDE STREET VIEW: A car pulls slowly into view on a poorly lit street at night and pulls off to the side of the road.  The camera view slowly slowly pans up on a jib and the street sign Main and SE 8th comes into view.

TIGHT - CAR INTERIOR: JOHNNY turns the radio on and finds a station with romantic music.  The JOHNNY and JENNY begin making out.  The music is interrupted by an emergency news broadcast.

Announcer:

This just in.  A dangerous mental patient has escaped the Beaver Lake hospital. 

JENNY pulls away and they both stare at the radio.

ANNOUNCER:

Police are hunting a man who escaped the facility less than two hours ago.   The hospital is located on Main and SE 12th street and authorities have admitted that Angus Lee Barton is described as a dangerous criminal and that anybody in the area should remain behind locked doors until he is apprehended.  He was put on trial for 4 rapes and aggravated murders last November, but was deemed unfit to stand the court proceedings and was admitted to Beaver Lake Hospital for an undetermined amount of time.

Barton is a white male of 35 years old.  He has short brown hair, is 5'11" and about 185 pounds.  He also has a prosthetic right arm due to a childhood accident.  It is believed the murder weapon he used was this prosthetic limb.

He is considered extremely dangerous and should not be approached under any circumstance.  Notify the police immediately if you witness any suspicious activity or anyone resembling Angus Lee Barton.

JENNY

Johnny we need to get out of here.  Beaver Lake is really close.

Johnny

Oh, common.  The cops probably already have him.

He leans in to continue making out.

JENNY

I mean it (very scared) take me home now!

JOHNNY

OK, OK. Calm done.

He turns the key in the ignition, they pull out, and they hear something on the back passenger door.

JENNY

Hurry, Johnny!

They peel away.

SCENE 2. Outside Jenny's house

TIGHT - CAR INTERIOR: JOHNNY turns off the ignition and faces JENNY.

JOHNNY

Look, I'm really sorry I scared you.  I really want to take you out again.

JENNY somewhat relaxes.

JENNY

Well, OK.  I did have fun at the party.  You can call me if you want.

JOHNNY

Cool!  I'll call you tomorrow.  Let me walk you to the door.

JOHNNY opens his door and walks around the front of the car to escort JENNY to her house.  When he turns around the right front quarter panel, he freezes and appears completely startled.

CLOSE UP: Jenny's face.

JENNY

What's wrong. (No answer from JOHNNY.)  JOHNNY!

CLOSE UP: JOHNNY'S face that pans back towards the rear of the car, where a hook is swinging from the passenger rear door.  There's a streak of blood on the side of the car from the hook towards the rear.

SCENE 3. OUTSIDE THE CAR before Johnny and jenny peel away

ANGUS puts the hook in the rear passenger door handle.  The car peels away and the hook is torn away.  He rolls in the lane holding his stump in agony.

scene 4. Orderlies in the woods

Two Hospital Orderlies are walking toward the camera's view with flashlights searching in the woods.

orderly 1

Anguuusss.  Oh Angussss.  Where arrrrre you?  You need to come back home to plaayyy.

Orderly 2

C'mon ANGUS, this is silly.  You know we hate it when you play hide and seek.

ANGUS is visibly afraid gets up and runs in to the woods, cowers, and starts to sob quietly.

FADE TO BLACK

scene 5. ANGUS discovered

The ORDERLIES awaken ANGUS and cuff him.  ANGUS begins to sob again.

ORDERLY 1

There you are!

Angus

No!  Please, no.  No more!

ORDERLY 2

We missed you buddy!  Just relax and you'll be back warm and comfy at home in your bed in no time.

The ORDERLIES load him into an ambulance.  They get in the front seat, look at each other and grin.

Scene 6. Angus's room

The ORDERLIES drag him to his room.  We notice ANGUS fighting back - but not that hard.  He knows he's caught.

The ORDERLIES put ANGUS in 4 point restraints - face down.

OVER ORDERLY 1's shoulder.  ORDERLY 1 grasps ANGUS'S scrub bottoms and violently jerks them off.

UP SHOT of ORDERLY 1 grinning unbuckling his belt grinning.

ORDERLY 1

We're glad your home, buddy.

ORDERLY 1 turns to look at ORDERLY 2 and ORDERLY 2 snickers.
